Welcome!

The Edinburgh University Mathematics Society (MathSoc) is for all students interested in mathematics. We run social events throughout the year to allow members to meet other mathematically minded people, whether it be from the maths course or otherwise. These events range from pub quizzes (where you'll get to challenge your lecturers) to our annual ball at the end of the year. We also run academic and career oriented events, so there's something for everyone!

As part of your membership, you'll get free or discounted entry to all of our events, discounted MathSoc hoodies and some nice perks from some of our sponsors.

How to join us

If you feel like joining one of Edinburgh's best societies (no really, we've won awards), then you can come along to any of our events and ask for a membership or join online through EUSA's website here. A membership costs £5 for the entire year, but you'll save more than that with the discount cards alone. We hope to see you soon!

About our sponsors

Newtyne - Newtyne Consultancy and Training Limited is an Edinburgh based business intelligence firm who specialise in SAS, WPS and MicroStrategy. Throughout the year they will be running small events aimed at helping our members become more employable and raising awareness of what they do.
